Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works. Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

I Will Sing Of My Redeemer
1. I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His wondrous love to me;
On the cruel cross He suffered,
From the curse to set me free.
* Sing, oh, sing of my Redeemer,
With His blood He purchased me,
On the cross He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt, and made me free.
2. I will tell the wondrous story,
How my lost estate to save,
In His boundless love and mercy,
He the ransom freely gave.
3. I will praise my dear Redeemer,
His triumphant pow'r I'll tell,
How the victory He giveth
Over sin, and death, and hell.
4. I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His heav'nly love to me;
He from death to life hath brought me,
Son of God with Him to be.
My notes :
This hymn always brings me tears. I am amazed by God's Love - What He has done. He has proved His love, His faithfulness. Have you ever imagined and could you think how come God took human's form and lived like us on this earth even died for us. It's even beyond my logic but I am so thankful to know that fact - He so loved us, that's why He died for us to pay our debt, so we who believe in Him will not perish. It's good to think of His love.

Thanks for posting Philip Bliss's wonderful hymn, and for your comments too. It was 134 years ago today that he and his wife perished in a tragic train accident in Ohio. He has left us a great legacy of gospel songs.
